Jamie is a 30+ year licensed mariner and a 1989 Massachusetts Maritime Academy graduate. He is a seven year United States Coast Guard veteran. During his career he was worked both Great Lakes and Western Rivers and is a first class pilot on the Great Lakes. He built the safety program at four companies as a Captain, Port Captain, and General Manager to conform to AWO/RCP requirements and now Sub M. His practical experience as a deckhand, tankerman, and captain have lead him to the philosophy of compliance does not necessarily mean safe. His common sense approach allows flexibility in the safety/compliance program he will build for you.
